CU Leads Men's Golf Championship After Two Rounds

-- Concord leads Charleston by a pair of shots after 36 holes on Monday at the Mountain East Conference Championship at Longaberger Golf Club. 

Fifty one of 60 players finished 36 holes on Monday. The championship concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.

Concord put all four rounds in the 70s in the second 18 to edge in front of the Golden Eagles by a pair of shots, 620-622. Notre Dame College is just seven shots off the pace after posting 627, followed closely by Shepherd at 630. Fairmont State (649) stands in fifth, followed by West Liberty (652), Wheeling Jesuit (653), UVa-Wise (670) and Urbana (680). West Virginia State, West Virginia Wesleyan and Glenville State have not yet completed their second rounds.

Individually, Fairmont State's Jess Ferrell is tied for the lead with Notre Dame's John Baggott and Brian Bir at 151. Wheeling Jesuit's Kodi Patterson is just a shot back at 151.
