NASHPORT, Ohio -- Concord fired a final round 301 to take the 2013 Mountain East Conference championship at Longaberger Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

The Mountain Lions fired the lowest round of the tournament to distance itself from Shepherd who finished runner-up at 945. Charleston was third with a score of 947, followed by Notre Dame (949), West Liberty (963) and Fairmont State (978). Wheeling Jesuit was seventh at 981, UVa-Wise was eighth with 1,008, Urbana was ninth with a score of 1,013, and West Virginia Wesleyan was 10th with a score of 1,017. West Virginia State was 11th (1,032) and Glenville State was 12th (1,055).

Concord's Evan Muscari carded a final round 70 to force a playoff with Fairmont State's Jess Ferrell for medalist honors with scores of 225. Muscari would win the playoff to earn the individual low score.

West Liberty's Ryan Thomson was third with a score of 228, followed by teammate Matthew Iceton at 229 and Notre Dame's Brian Bir.
