BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- The pairings for the 2014 Mountain East Conference Women's Basketball Tournament presented by GoMart have been set.

Glenville State, the MEC regular season champion, West Liberty, Charleston and West Virginia State earned first round byes and advance to the quarterfinal round in Charleston starting on Thursday, March 6. The Pioneers, Hilltoppers and Yellow Jackets clinched a bye prior to Saturday's action, and the Golden Eagles secured a spot with a win over Charleston on Saturday afternoon.

Fairmont State, Urbana, Notre Dame and Wheeling Jesuit will host first round games on their campuses on Tuesday, March 4. The Falcons will take on West Virginia Wesleyan, Urbana will play Shepherd, Notre Dame will play host to UVa-Wise, and Wheeling Jesuit will face Concord.
