Wheeling Jesuit's Joe Molek will have big (running) shoes to fill following the graduation of its top two runners from 
a season ago as the Cardinals captured the inaugural Mountain East Conference cross country championship. Not only were Luke Holubeck and Patrick Stanton WJU's top runners, they also finished first and second at the conference championship. However, Molek wasn't too far off the pace himself finishing third during his sophomore season.

In addition to a strong cross country season, the Bentworth, Pa., native also had a successful spring track season winning the MEC title in the steeplechase and placing in the 800 and 1,500 meters.
