DANIELS, W.Va. -- Kasey Frazier carded a tournament-best 74 to help Wheeling Jesuit overtake the second round lead at the MEC Championship at the Cobb Course at Glade Springs.
WJU trailed defending champion Notre Dame by two shots after the first round, and will take just a two-stroke lead over the Falcons into the final round. WJU shot 329 in the second round for a two-day total of 666, while Notre Dame posted a 333 for a total of 668.
Charleston is in third (684), followed by UVa-Wise (745), Urbana (771) and Fairmont State (822).
Individually, NDC's Michiko Smith and Charleston's Kelli Garrett are tied for second 11 shots behind Frazier.
The second round of the 54-hole tournament continues tomorrow afternoon.
