SALEM, Va. -- After losing its first game of the tournament, Notre Dame College rattled off six wins in three days to win the 2015 Mountain East Conference Tournament title.
The seventh-seeded Falcons (26-28) got a win over Concord in the consolation final on Sunday morning to advance to the championship game against top-seeded West Virginia Wesleyan. Behind tournament MVP Ashley Hall, the Falcons won the first game 4-0 and then scored three runs in the top of the seventh to defeat the Bobcats in 5-3 in the championship.
Hall pitched in every inning of every game for NDC -- 46.0 innings -- posting a 1.37 ERA with two shutouts and was named the tournament MVP. She walked just three batters in the tournament, none of those on the final day of play. Kelsey Coleman, Amy Hoover and Anissa Kotoch were also named to the all-tournament team.
The Bobcats (35-8) placed Brooklyn Waddell, Hannah Vet and Krista Waggoner on the all-tournament team.
Dee Dee Loftis (West Virginia State), Katelyn Hamilton (Charleston), Tara Hanson (Shepherd) and Alyssa Morris (Concord) were also selected to the all-tournament team.
Several Mountain East Conference teams will await their NCAA Tournament fate tomorrow when the field and regional sites are announced on NCAA.com.

Kelsey Colemen went 2-for-3 and Ashley Hall silenced the Concord bats as Notre Dame eliminated the Mountain Lions, 7-1, on Sunday morning.
Amy Hoover went 2-for-4 with two runs and Anna Myers had a base-clearing hit to lead the Falcon offense. Hall gave up just one run on two hits striking out six and walking none in seven innings of work.
Alayna Furr provided the only offense for Concord with a solo home run in the third inning. Katie Snodgress took the loss giving up four runs (two earned) on six hits. CU was plagued by four errors in the game.

Notre Dame forced a decisive final game after blanking West Virginia Wesleyan, 4-0.
Ashley Hall pitched her second shutout of the tournament scattering six hits in seven innings of work. She also struck out four and did not surrender a free pass.
Kelsey Coleman once again did damage at the top of the order going 2-for-3 with a run scored. Anissa Kotoch added two hits and Amy Hoover provided two RBI.
Anna Eggleston and Rachel Ramsey each had two hits for the Bobcats. Eggleston started in the circle but lasted just 0.1 innings giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits. Alyssa Shawgo went the rest of the way in relief giving up one unearned run on four hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

Kelsey Coleman's two-run double in the top of the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted Notre Dame College to the 2015 Mountain East Conference Tournament championship.
Coleman finished the game 2-for-4 with the two RBI. Kayla Sidorski added two hits and an RBI, and Amy Hoover and Mackenzie Wallace each drove in a run.
Ashley Hall was once again solid in the circle pitching her seventh complete game of the tournament giving up three runs on seven hits with one strikeout and no walks.
Morgan Bruce went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI, and Megan Malenstyn went 1-for-3 with an RBI for the Bobcats. Hannah Vet took just her second loss of the eason pitching all seven innings giving up five runs (three earned) on eight hits with one strikeout.
