BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Tickets for the 2017 Mountain East Conference Basketball Tournament at the Charleston Civic Center are
on sale now.
The tournament has a new format for 2017 with 10 of the top 12 teams advancing to play at the Charleston Civic Center, with the top six teams earning byes to the quarterfinal round. Men's and women's first round games between seeds 7-10 will be played on Wednesday, March 1. The tournament continues with women's quarterfinals on Thursday, March 2, and the men's quarterfinals on Friday, March 3.
Men's and women's semifinals will be played on Saturday, March 4, and the tournament concludes with the championship games on Sunday, March 5.
Even with the additional day of basketball, all-session ticket prices remain the same from last year at $40 for reserved and $35 for general admission. Single session reserved tickets are $15, and single session general admission tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for youth ages 12-18 and students (with a valid ID). Children 11 and under can get an all-session reserved ticket for just $20, or an all-session general admission ticket for $5.
